İnanın her zamankinden nerdeyse iki misli boşaldım.

[O anı yaşayanlarbilir her şeyi göze alıyor insan]. Kızımın beline sol elimle sarıldım iyice kendime bastırdım ayşen bir an yüzüme baktı ama bişey demedi. Iyiki demedi yoksa mahvolurdum. Sağ elimle hafif hafif bacaklarını okşuyor dudaklarımla da boynuna minik öpücükler konduruyordum yasak meyveyi koklamanın verdiği zevkle hemen ve inanın neredeyse her zamankinden iki misli fazla boşaldım. Artık arabadan nasıl ineceğimizi düşünmeye başladım İnme vakti gelince karıma biz ayşenle markete gidip bişeyler alalım dedim çünkü benim önüm ve ayşenin eteğinin arkası ıslanmıştı. İner inmez ayşenle hızlı hızlı markete gitmek için yürüdük markete gelmeden bir bankta oturalım kızım yoruldum dedim. Ayşen tamam baba dedi 20-25 dakika kadar oturup menilerin kurumasını bekliyordum. ayşene bakıp ammada terlemişimiz kızım dedim ayşen evet baba kucağın çok sıcaktı dedi ve güldü. Bu gülüşten her şeyin farkında olduğunu anlamıştım. Giysilerimiz kuruyunca markete girdik ben alışverişten çok önümde gezinen körpe vücuda bakıyordum. Biara kızım raftan bişey almaya uzandı bende yardım bahanesiyle arkadan sikimi kalçalarının arasına dayadım. Kalçalarının yumuşaklığı beni azdırmaya yetti. 1-2 Saniyelik beklemeden sonra kızım çekildi hadi baba artık gidelim dedi, tamam yavrum diyip eve yürümeye başladık. Yolda kafama koymuş bu tazecik vücudu altıma almaya karar vermiştim. Pansiyonda gece olanları bir sonraki hikayemde yakın zamanda anlatacağım.

Modern Interior Designing Ideas

It was only last month that my friend Martha decided to re-decorate her apartment. She wanted a clutter-free, simple, and functional space, with luxurious ambiance as well. Her home was cramped with too much of furniture and no matter what she did – the place always seemed to be in a mess. Her interior designer suggested that she should let go of all her excess furniture and re-model the house to make the space seem uncomplicated. What was once an overcrowded run-of-the-mill apartment had now been transformed into a simple and stylish space.

Modern interior designing mantra is keeping things simple and uncomplicated. Too much of furniture and too much of decorating takes away the beauty of the space rather than enhancing it. If you are planning to decorate your home this season then you should know that modern interior designing is the hottest trend in town. Interior designers are trying to create practical and modern living spaces that suit the busy new-age lifestyle.

Modern Interior Designing Ideas

Less is more: Modern interior designing concepts are based on clean and clear lines. Try to keep your furniture to a bare minimum. For example, while working on your living room, try to keep the furniture limited to large couch (preferably one with straight lines and geometrical shapes) and additional two or three extra chairs. Do not clutter the room with additional futons or benches.

Wireless World: Electronic appliances are an integral part of the homes today. Be it the refrigerator, the microwave in the kitchen, the sleek television sets in the living room, or the music systems and the laptops in the house – there are a number of electronics which need to have a proper space in the house. Try to incorporate wireless appliances and have flawlessly concealed wiring throughout the house.

Keeping it Simple: Modern interior designing is all about keeping it all clean and clear with flawless lines and geometrical shapes. The alignment as well as the shapes of the furniture – everything is designed around this concept. Try to keep everything simple and functional in the house. In case you are planning to have a studio apartment, try to maintain the simplicity and enhance the functionality of the space.

Right Colors: Try to create an ambiance that oozes class and style without too much of effort. Try not to use too many colors, since you don’t want the colors to overpower the entire ambiance, but rather enrich it in a subtle and stylish way. A contrast between light-colored serene walls and furniture in deep-colors can be a great idea.

Space Utilization: Making optimum use of space for storage should be the number one priority while designing a home. While making enough room for storage try to ensure that there is a lot of free space to move around. Modern interior designing is all about making the rooms seem more spacious than they actually are.

Invest Wisely: Instead of cluttering the house with too many decorative articles, it is always wise to invest in fewer and better interior designing ideas. Always try to create one or maximum of two attention points in a single room and design the entire room around it. This helps to maintain the simplicity and enhances the aesthetic value of the entire room.

Making Your House a Home

By Deborah Lambeth

Go to any bookstore and look in the home improvement section, and you’ll find book after book about decorating, designing, creating, building, planting, etc. Just browsing the magazine section can be overwhelming―Better Homes and Gardens, Home and Garden, Home, Decorating, Martha Stewart’s array of magazines, Southern Living, Woodworking, Log Cabin Homes, etc.-the list goes on forever.

Bombarded by all of this information, how does a person make their abode their own? I think having a plethora of ideas is a good thing because it helps you to define your style. Are you a modern-style person who likes vibrant colors? Are you a more earth-toned person who likes subdued and soothing colors? Or are you a mixed palate kind of person―where you like both vibrancy and calm?

Most decorators will tell you that you need to have a focal point in every room. Sometimes that is easily determined by the shape of the room, or by the location of a fixed object (fireplace, window, etc.) Other times, the focal point needs to be created. Decorators will also encourage you to experiment with colors and think ‘outside the box’. One of the easiest and less expensive ways to make your home ‘yours’ is to paint. Painting is relatively easy. Wallpapering takes some skill; however, most home improvement and wallpaper stores offer classes on painting and wallpapering. All four walls do not have to be the same color. The ceiling doesn’t have to be white anymore. Color and texture can make a room seem bigger or smaller depending on how you use both. Dark colors tend to make a room look smaller. Large patterns do not work well in small spaces.

Look at the things you have collected over the years that have special meaning to you. Are there ways you can incorporate these in your decorating scheme to enhance your space? Sometimes just changing out a frame on a picture can freshen up a boring room. Grouping and shadowboxing items can have a big impact on space as well as showcasing your collectibles. Going to your local arts/craft stores, you can get some great ideas-and they also offer classes, as well.

The most important thing about making your abode ‘yours’ is to capture the essence of who you are and reflect that in your decorating style. Don’t get stuck into thinking that your house needs to look like something on the Home and Garden channel, or something out of House Beautiful. A home should have all the elements of what you enjoy in life. Your home should be a safe haven from the outside world, a place where you can open the door and feel the four walls you call ‘home’ envelope you and make you glad that you’re there.

Making Your House a Home

Tips For Interior Design

With thoughtful planning about the renovation of your house, you can have a new look without really burning a hole in your wallet. Interior designing, as a profession, is also quite sought after. If you have a creative streak, one can avoid the heavy expenses, which are incurred by seeking professional advice.

Tips to Plan the Interiors of Your House

Before you begin with the planning, you need to know the areas you have to work upon. Is there any specific room or a corner you would like to highlight? Have you thought about the budget? Having a fixed budget can help you plan the work systematically.

Size of the Room

Think about the size of the room you need to work on. Is it spacious and cozy, or compact? If your house is really compact, you can use certain elements to create the feeling of spaciousness. For this, you would need to work on the lighting of the room, which should eliminate all the shadows within. Lights fixed in the ceiling area, tend to make the ceiling look lower, and this would make your room appear smaller. Use a soft light throughout the room, as diffused light is known to create the feeling of space as well.

Patterns and Textures

Adding too many patterns and textures in the room can give it a compact look. Therefore, it has to be avoided if you stay in a very small flat. You can go in for smooth finishes to give it a larger appearance. Avoid using heavily decorated rugs or carpets for such homes.

Focus on Elements

Do you wish to work on a specific area? Focusing on one point in the room can draw more attention to that particular area and add an element of interest to the interiors. When you plan for one large attractive feature, you need to play down the other elements in the room. After all, you do not want all the objects vying for attention. For this, you can get a large painting or have some dramatic furniture.

Painting

The colors of the room need to be planned with careful consideration to the utility of the room, and who would be using it. Loud colors for the bedroom area may actually cause you to lose out on your sleep. Every color is linked to certain emotions. Dark colors can make any room look smaller than its actual size. Light colors can help a compact room appear larger than its actual size. You can go for warm colors in the living room and the kitchen. Such warm colors are lively and can make a person feel energetic. Cool color schemes create a calm feeling and are preferred for the bedroom area.

Themes

Plan a theme for the room. This would also depend on your budget and personal opinion. Floral themes are quite popular and would be easier to manage, because accessories are readily available. Remember to balance all the elements well. If you have floral curtains, balance it with a plain rug. The colors should balance out all the elements. Too many flowered patterns all over the room may result in a disaster. Having a beautiful painting with flowers on a plain wall can coordinate well with floral bedspreads, without really hurting the eye.

Wallpapers

Patterns can also be used to add some drama to the room. Go for patterned wallpapers or have an oriental rug in the center. Rough textures can be used in moderation to create some astounding effects. Patterned rooms can give your house a new look and bring about a fresh change!

Utilization of Space

Utilize your space well when it comes to the arrangement of the furniture. Place the desk near the window, so that you can utilize the natural light. Use a curved item or furniture in the corner, to soften the angle of the room. Avoid placing too many large items all around, as you must also consider how comfortable it is to walk within the room.

Do not be apprehensive about experimenting with the design. Once you get the hang of it, you can use creative options to give a beautiful personal touch to your home!

Tips For Interior Design

Eco-Friendly Furniture

Furniture is a basic necessity in any house that distinguishes it from the rest. eco-friendly décor is a trending option today. It offers a variety of eco-friendly materials that are made from recycled and harvested wood, bio-based as well as non toxic materials that cause less pollution. There are plenty of products that you can select, according to your requirements and style logo.

Industrial Scraps

Researchers have found out a rather chic way of managing industrial scrap by using it in making a variety of products that are aesthetic as well as eclectic. These items are available in various striking colors as well as with washable qualities which increases their durability.

Egg Cartons

Egg cartons are made from cardboard. There are various eco-friendly baby furniture items made from these waste cartons. They are turned into a paper pulp that can be later processed into various small desks and stools for kids.

Recycled Fiber

Couches, chairs, and even sofa cushions are a combination of steel mesh and fiber sacks that were previously being used for the transportation of grains and stones. These items are lightweight. Some of these products come with low watt light fixtures that add a unique accent by emitting lights.

Bamboo and Cane

Both cane and bamboo are grown on a large scale in most parts of Asia. They get easily destroyed, and hence they need not to be sent in the landfills. Most of these pieces are handmade, so they don’t require machinery and are free from causing pollution. They are also available in numerous styles and designs and are easy on the budget as well.

Tips for Buying

  • It is best not to throw away old furniture as you can donate it or sell it to someone who needs it. Plus you can also think about recycling it to fit your needs.

  • Always buy products that have been made using wood that is certified by the FSC (Forest Stewardship Council).

  • Purchase from your local retailer as much as possible that saves the transportation cost, as well as pollution.

  • Along with paints, it can actually contaminate your indoor air as they can emit toxic rays. Hence, it is important to choose the substances that are water-based and with the lowest VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds).

  • Use foam inside the furniture that is not processed with the flame retardants.

  • Always use eco-friendly fabric with natural colors and dyes. Cotton is traditionally treated with heavy amount of pesticides and VOCs for the desired color of the fabric. This can cause harm to the health as well as the environment. So, try to avoid it and use organic cotton.

With rising pollution and environmental degradation, protecting the environment must be our primary goal. This kind of furniture can take you one step ahead in this noble cause, with an added panache to your house.

Affordable Modern Furniture

People have a common misconception that to own modern furniture, they necessarily have to spend a lot of money. However, if you research in the right way and consider some important things, you can get them at very inexpensive prices. Modern furniture has certainly evolved over time, and has been through a lot of changes. Its style, pattern, and outlook is more advanced and trendy. Due to their style and convenience, their demand is surely on the rise, which is why their prices are so high.

Modern and Old Furniture

The main difference between today’s furniture and the furniture made in the early years is that modern furniture is made using cheaper material, such as tubular steel, aluminum, vinyl and glass. Despite cheaper material being used in them, they are still mostly expensive and far from the reach of a common man, though this is always not the case. This is due to the involutions and the convenience that you get from them. They may have a bed, table, and some other things built in a single couch. Olden days furniture was made using good quality material which are durable, but they didn’t have the uses that the modern ones provide. There are some olden days furniture that is very rare, and as a result it’s still in high demand.

Cheap Modern Furniture

There are several companies that offer modern furniture at very affordable prices. The reason is that they are manufactured in quantity on an assembly line. There are some companies which manufacture individual parts and later assemble them to make different types of home and office furniture. This is known as modular furniture and is normally available at considerably lower prices as compared to single-piece furniture. Such affordable furniture is readily available in local furniture stores.

Today’s furniture is made from unconventional substances like rattan cane, which is quite inexpensive in comparison with traditional wood. Rattan cane can be molded into different patterns which may be used to create innovative designs. A rattan cane sofa set and an ‘end table’ may be priced at less than $3,000, whereas a dinner set may be available for less than $2,000. Wicker wood is also another inexpensive material used for manufacturing cheap modern furniture. However, it is soft and doesn’t look attractive unless it is polished or finished in an efficient manner.

The Internet is certainly a good place to search for affordable modern furniture. There are many shopping sites that have good offers for modern houses and offices. If you want to check the furniture displayed on the site in person, you can email your requirement to them. They would certainly provide information about furniture shops in your locality which they are associated with.

It is not necessary for the furniture to be branded or unique. They still look beautiful and can provide the convenience that expensive ones do. A majority of people believe that they are more perdurable than customized or designer furniture. They are a good alternative for families who live within a budget, and want to buy a very nice piece of home furniture. You can also get the best quality furniture in an auction sale or an exhibition. The best time to buy such furniture is during a season sale, as then you get a variety with discounted prices.

There are many places where you can purchase good and affordable modern furniture, such as festival and clearance sales, yard sales, or directly from factory outlets.

How to Build a Rocking Chair

“It’s been a hard day’s night, and I’ve been working like a dog,

It’s been a hard day’s night, I should be sleeping like a log…”

One of the first things that comes to mind when listening to this evergreen Beatles song is a nice, comfortable rocking chair! Truly, a cozy and comfy rocking chair can be one of the best ways to relax after a tiring day’s work. A good rocking chair is a must-have piece of furniture, and for those of you who long for one, you don’t need to look too far.

Making a Rocking Chair

Before you go about building a rocking chair, you should know certain basics about the chair components, material used, etc. A rocking chair typically consists of the following parts:

  • Armrests

  • Backrest

  • Chair legs

  • Rockers

  • Chair seat

Wooden rocking chairs are mostly made of hardwood such as oak, teak, and at times, even walnut. Hardwood is always preferred for its sturdiness and durability, so it is advisable that you select a similar type of wood while making your rocking chair.

Instructions:

  1. Rocking chairs are available in many varieties, designs and patterns. One of the first things that you need to do is prepare a detailed sketch of the type of chair that you intend to make.

  2. Google for some common, easy-to-make rocking chair designs and use them as a reference, if necessary. Make sure that you specify all the measurements and other necessary design details in your sketch, before you proceed with any further steps.

  3. The best and most logical way to make a rocking chair from scratch is to build different chair parts individually and then assemble them together at the end.

  4. Start with the front legs of the chair. Using your sketch as a guide, measure the appropriate length of the piece of wood and mark it with a pencil. Cut it uniformly with a sharp saw. In case of the rear legs, take into account the curvature of the rockers and adjust the leg length accordingly.

  5. Once you are done with the chair legs, move on to the chair seat. Depending on your sketch, cut a square or rectangular-shaped wooden plank of adequate thickness. It should be strong enough to bear your weight so be careful about this. Attach the seat to the legs. You can either glue it using special chemical adhesives or you can nail it together.

  6. Next up is the backrest frame. Now this is something that you should pay careful attention to. From an ergonomic point of view, the backrest should ideally have a slight curvature to it for proper back support, comfort, and to prevent your back from getting stiff. You can shape the wood as per your wish in order to get the desired degree of curve.

  7. Wooden slats are commonly used as part of the backrest. Make sure that you curve them to the same extent as the backrest frame. Once again, you have both options of either gluing or nailing the wooden slats to the backrest frame.

  8. After you’ve completed the backrest, move on to the armrests. These are relatively easy to attach, whereas the actual difficulty lies in deciding upon their thickness, width and height. Refer to your sketch measurements and attach the armrests accordingly.

  9. The next part involves attaching the rockers. Once again, pay attention to this particular part of your rocking chair. Make sure that you design the rockers in such a way that they are long, strong and stable enough.

  10. After you’ve attached all the individual parts, sandpaper them to get a soft, smooth finish. Finally, apply a coat of paint or resin to give it a warm and homely look.

Rocking chairs make for a great piece of home furniture, outdoor furniture, as well as patio furniture. Using this do-it-yourself guide, you can make a rocking chair within no time at all. Place it near your fireplace and it becomes a great way to relax and unwind at the end of the day.

20 Japanese Home Decorations in the Dining Room

According to Wiki, archaeological research indicates that people lived in Japan as early as the Upper Palaeolithic period. The first written mention of Japan is in Chinese history texts from the 1st century AD.
